No Painting Experience Necessary
Whether you are a seasoned artist, or new to painting, or secretly dream of painting, or don't consider yourself creative at all (but deep down, you really want to!), all of you is welcome, just as you are.

I’m teaching MUSE OF THE HEART live in person in Boulder CO and Online the weekend of Sept 20-21, 2025.

How it works.
Pick one thing you want to bring into being. We'll play with that energy for two days. The energies of the Equinox are collaborating with us, too. See what reveals. Give yourself permission. Be surprised.
The Muse speaks in Myth, in Symbol, in Archetype in the land where the wild things are. She is not concerned with getting it right or wrong. She knows what she knows, and she trusts her knowing. That is enough.
Most of us don't know how to get past the voice of the critic, the naysayer, the perfectionist, the not ready yet, not good enough yet, don't have time yet voices that keep us stuck, longing, a little bit sad and restless and we don't know why.
When you feel content, safe and secure being YOU, you naturally experience greater physical, emotional, financial, creative and spiritual freedom than you ever "thought" possible.
We'll meet the conditioned mind, the one that thinks "the reality is" and go beyond it to access the greater reality of All That Is through embodied, intentional creativity.
That which I am calling the Muse of the Heart is access to your own heart that contains valuable treasure you've been looking for your whole life.
Painting helps you to rewire your nervous system and reconnect with your divine feminine power and infinite potential.
The Muse is waiting to speak to you. Will you listen? Will you invite her in and co-create magic with her?
Invitation from the Muse of the Heart
We'll explore the stages of creation necessary to create some thing from no thing.
You'll gain a deeper understanding of various levels of consciousness operating in you, and you'll develop mastery to curate your consciousness as you choose. You'll paint your inner vision, and bring forth from within you what wants to be created next.
Every thing is created twice: first from the liminal, imaginal space and then second, as you transform formlessness into form.
The transformation needs YOU to participate in the process!
This process will help you discover your voice, your vision and your values.
Experience magical medicine painting to find your peace and manifest your dreams. This deeply integrative and empowering process is open to all craving deeper connection with self and Self.
Muse of the Heart is not about what you already know with your Mind. It's about accessing a deeper knowing that lives in your heart.
It's about discovering the Mystery inside you that wants to express itself through you.
It's about remembering your wild free Self and giving her the brush to write her story.
It's about hearing and listening to and singing along with the Song of Your Soul.
IMPORTANT STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW
WHAT: Muse of the Heart is an Intentional Creativity painting workshop over the equinox. You are invited to enter sacred transformational space for self-discovery, self-leadership and self-expression.
WHEN: Saturday, Sept 20 and Sunday, Sept 21, from 11am - 4pm both days.
WHERE: The workshop will be live in person at the Boulder School of Fine Art, 2810 Wilderness Place, Suite B, Boulder CO 80301.
You may also participate online from anywhere in the world. Online information will be provided upon registration. This class will be recorded and replays will be available for six months.
WHY: Magic happens when we gather together in circle to witness and be witnessed by one another. Let us curate our consciousness -- personally and collectively -- through Intentional Creativity.

HOW: Whether you're experienced or brand new to painting, this workshop will help you cultivate deeper self-awareness and self-expression, resolve internal conflict, rewrite your inner narrative and rewire your nervous system for calm.
Upon registration, you'll receive a supplies and materials list. No painting experience is needed. Just your willingness to get up close and personal with a canvas, acrylic paint, and your brushes aka magic wands.
